A Happy-Birthday edition

(Picture: Google.com)
It's my birthday!!! - I did not say this out loud actually.

The first thing came across my mind was that I'm getting older. Well, something I cannot resist, right? Luckily we only celebrate birthday once a year (-can you imagine if we celebrate it twice or three times?!)

Additionally, my youngest brother, Buyung, and I share the same birthday-April 4th. So after 2001, I was not the only child in the family who's having birthday--It is a rare case for a first and the last born to have similar birthday, isn't it? This is one of the uniquely beautiful things I love about my family.

Well, I'd tell you what happened on my birthday yesterday! Keep reading... (smile)

First thing I did in the morning was 'praying.' God has been so GOOD to me. I woke up, feeling healthy, fresh, and beautiful.
And since I missed a couple phone calls from my family, later on, I returned their call one by one. (I did this after praying).

My heart jumped with joy, so did my hair--it went curlier. Laugh!
For my birthday this year, I decided to dress-up beautifully. (sorry, I haven't been able to post the picture here yet). I called yesterday as "a special edition of me." I even put on some make up and did my hair. I tried to assemble my Batik dress with a cardigan. (can you get a picture of it now? Hopefully you can.) I considered this as the day I celebrated my life.

I walked to work with tons and tons of energy, smiles, good feeling, wishes, and prayers!
"I'm contented!" my heart said.

"This is the day that the Lord has made. I would rejoice and be glad in it." it continued...

As arrived at the office, I was pampered by birthday wishes from friends, family, and former lecturers. I planned a small tea-brownies party with my CLS fellows at 6pm but it turned out that only two of them, Ariani and Naya. We ate the brownies! No tea! (laugh)

At the end, I did not throw a big party. It was merely the tea-brownies one, which did not look like a party at all. I laughed at myself but then I found myself smiling widely as I got home. Guess what?! As I entered my room, I found a birthday cake along with its candles. A deliciously free cake. :D

"Could this be from one of my fans?"  my heart asked...

The point is I had a wonderful birthday this year...(Thanks to those of you who wished and prayed for that. It happened!)
Again, thank you for the wishes, everybody! You won my heart!
